Privacy

What we store
- Account: your email address and a display name, held by Supabase (EU region) for sign-in.
- Game data: the patches you draw (map coordinates), game settings, scores, pilot names typed
at the table, the flag you pick for yourself (if any), and a ledger of token grants and purchases.
- Flag: only the country you choose in the picker beside your name. We never work it out
from your IP address. Nothing is saved until you pick. Choose "No flag" at any time to remove it, including from your past scores.
- Flight paths: while a round is running we record where your drone flew inside the game
world, twice a second, so the end screen can replay your flight and so we can see which patches
are too hard. This is the position of a camera in a 3D model, not your own whereabouts, and we
never collect your device location. Flight paths are deleted after 12 months, and with your
account at any time.
- Visits: when the game loads we count the visit with two labels: the kind of device
(phone, tablet or computer) and where the link came from (for example a Reddit post, or
"direct"). The same two labels go on each game you start. No name, account or IP address is
stored with a visit.
- Anti-abuse: your IP address is checked when free signup tokens are granted, and kept with
that grant record to limit multi-account farming.
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we store the
Stripe session id of a purchase so it cannot be credited twice.
- On your device: localStorage keeps your settings and the pilot roster. No advertising,
no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics; our server keeps three anonymous counters
(games started, finished, scores saved).
Who processes it
Supabase (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments), Render (hosting), and Cesium/Google
(map streaming — your browser fetches map tiles directly from their servers, which sees your IP
address like any website you visit; see Google's own privacy policy for that traffic).
Public data
If you publish a patch, its fence, name, pilot count and leaderboard become public until you
unpublish it. Scores are shown with the pilot name that was typed at the table, and with your flag
if you picked one.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and everything attached
to it (patches, scores, token ledger) deleted. Email
syver.lauritzsen@gmail.com from your account
address and we will handle it within 30 days. You can also complain to Datatilsynet.
